We seem to all be suffering a common problem these days, WHERE DID OUR LIVES GO? Our brains seem to still be 18, but our bodies are talking a different language. Sarah Orne Jewett puts it much more eloquently than do I:

“Neither of my companions was troubled by her burden of years. I hoped in my heart that I might be like them as I lived on into age, and then smiled to think that I too was no longer very young. So we always keep the same hearts, though our outer framework fails and shows the touch of time.”

Moisio Magic

I can't imagine the fortitude it took for Pat Moisio Reim Ciapciak to attend a fund-raising gala at The Chase with her brother Peter the day after burying her husband Stan. What a capacity for love, sharing and support Pat must have. We all should take a bit of a swig from her gallons of love for her family. Pat you have my admiration and again, my condolences. I have been sending Peter's cards with great joy to my friends and family. Please go here to see the video of Pat and Peter on November 13 where Peter is recognized for once again 'doing good' for our community - he was commissioned by St. Louis Arc to create a painting to be auctioned as a fund-raiser!
