We seem to all be suffering a common problem these days, WHERE DID OUR LIVES GO? Our brains seem to still be 18, but our bodies are talking a different language. Sarah Orne Jewett puts it much more eloquently than do I:

“Neither of my companions was troubled by her burden of years. I hoped in my heart that I might be like them as I lived on into age, and then smiled to think that I too was no longer very young. So we always keep the same hearts, though our outer framework fails and shows the touch of time.”

I just wanted to let you all know that Leslie's husband, Paul, passed away suddenly today. I will post more information as soon as I get it.

    Leslie, thanks for a great summary of your life with Paul. I read every word and hope to read more. He and my husband are the same age, almost to the day. My husband also graduated from the University of Houston (school of architecture). I love how our lives can connect in surprising ways. I hope all your connections will give you support and love now; you deserve it. Big hugs, Darcie
